QCIF PROJECTS

Steven joined QCIF as a Skill Development Helper after more than three years as a full-stack engineer at FNZ in Australia, where he worked on designing and modernising large-scale financial applications. Before moving to Australia, he spent four years as an IT Lecturer at Whitecliffe College in New Zealand, where he developed industry-focused curriculum and helped students gain practical skills in modern web technologies.

He holds a Master of Information Technology from Flinders University, Australia, and a Master of Electronic Engineering from Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications, China. This combination of technical depth and teaching experience has shaped his passion for sharing knowledge and building impactful digital solutions.

Steven is particularly interested in the intersection of machine learning, digital health, and robotics, and he enjoys exploring how emerging technologies can be applied to solve real-world problems. He is also enthusiastic about data visualisation, cloud technologies, and designing software systems that are both robust and scalable.

Outside of work, Steven enjoys exploring Brisbane’s diverse food scene, challenging himself with escape rooms, and keeping up with the latest trends in technology and design.
