Data Wrangling

We support researchers and clients with data wrangling, ensuring datasets are clean, consistent, and structured for analysis. By handling tasks such as data transformation, integration, and quality checks, we make sure researchers can focus on insights rather than technical hurdles.

Supervised & Unsupervised Learning

We work with researchers and clients to apply supervised learning techniques for predictive tasks and unsupervised learning methods to reveal hidden structures within complex datasets. Our expertise ensures models are well-designed, validated, and aligned with the research question or business challenge.

Deep Learning

Our team helps researchers and clients harness deep learning methods to solve complex problems, from modelling biological systems, analysing high-dimensional health and environmental data to enhancing decision-making in daily business operations. We guide the design and training of neural networks to deliver meaningful and reproducible results.

Convolutional Networks

We assist researchers and clients in applying convolutional neural networks (CNNs) to image and spatial data, supporting projects in medical imaging, satellite data analysis, and other fields where pattern recognition is key to discovery or enhanced bsuiness intelligence.

Natural Language Processing (NLP)

This includes helping researchers and clients leverage Large Language Models (LLMs) like GPT, Llama, and Mistral for literature review automation, custom RAG pipelines, code generation, and other text-based research workflows.

Generative AI

We help researchers and clients apply generative AI techniques beyond language, such as designing new proteins or drug candidates in bioinformatics, developing innovative materials in material science, or generating synthetic datasets for privacy-preserving research. These models open new frontiers for discovery by creating data, structures, or designs that were previously inaccessible through traditional methods.

Training and Workforce Development: National Machine Learning Courses

QCIF provides specialised machine learning training to researchers and industry professionals across Australia. These courses equip participants with practical, hands-on skills in modern data science and AI workflows, from data wrangling to deep learning.
