We are pleased to announce the appointment of Melanie Woodward as our Chief Operating Officer (COO).
With more than 25 years of experience across financial services, consulting, community services and member associations, Melanie has built a reputation for strengthening organisations, developing people, and creating the foundations that allow teams to thrive.
Her varied career includes helping establish a financial services business from the ground up, setting up an international office in London, supporting an organisation through an initial public offering, and leading for-purpose organisations across Australia.
“I’ve had a really varied career,” Melanie said. “I’ve deliberately worked across different sectors to broaden my experience, and I’ve found that I really enjoy the for-purpose sector. Everything is about purpose.”
QCIF Digital Research Chief Executive Officer, Sach Jayasinghe, welcomed Melanie's appointment, noting that her experience and leadership align strongly with QCIF's strategic vision.

In this newly created role, Melanie will work across the organisation to support effective operations, organisational development and a strong workplace culture.
“I see myself as an enabler,” Melanie said. “My role is to support everyone in the business to do their job in the best way possible, to make sure the organisation is ready to go and people can focus on their work.”
Melanie’s focus on people and culture also reflects one of QCIF’s strategic pillars: investing in and developing talent to attract and retain the human capital that underpins cutting-edge capabilities.
“I’m passionate about people and culture,” she said. “I’m excited to spend time with managers, support professional development and help build capability across the organisation.”
