Troy joined QCIF in 2019 and is the Executive Manager – Enterprise Solutions. He leads the rollout and subscriber program for the ReDBox research data management platform, working with delivery teams to scope, plan and support production services. In addition to this, Troy works with members to deliver scalable storage solutions and software development services tailored to research organisations.

He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical and Computing) and a Diploma in Project Management. This combination of technical and project delivery training has equipped him with the skills to bridge technology, service design and organisational priorities. Over his career, he has gained extensive experience in enterprise systems, software development, and supporting the research sector through innovative digital infrastructure.

Troy is interested in research data management, artificial intelligence, cloud-based platforms, and agile software development. He is particularly passionate about creating solutions that improve accessibility and performance while enabling researchers to adopt technologies that make their work more discoverable, reproducible and impactful.

Outside of work, Troy is an early-morning gym-goer who enjoys hiking and travel. He is also known for his meticulous planning, bringing the same attention to detail to family adventures and overseas trips as he does to his professional projects.
