Pauline joined QCIF as a JCU eResearch Analyst in 2022 after working on several projects with the JCU eResearch Centre, including developing a data processing pipeline for sensors monitoring reefs off Orpheus Island.

Before joining QCIF, she worked as a programmer, analyst, and project manager across various industries, including leading the team that developed the Istanbul Bills and Bonds stock exchange trading system.

Pauline enjoys running training workshops, programming, improving systems and processes, and making IT approachable. She has been pleasantly surprised by how much she enjoys delivering workshops for the Skills Development team and finds great satisfaction in helping others and building practical, useful tools.

Outside of work, Pauline’s time is filled with wrangling an energetic kitten, chauffeuring a teenager, reading, and enjoying the relaxed lifestyle of North Queensland.
