QCIF PROJECTS
Luke joined QCIF as an eResearch Analyst at the start of 2025 and is based at CQUniversity, where he works alongside Jason Bell. Coming from a generalist background in commercial IT and management, Luke brings a broad skill set to support researchers.
His main focus is on high-performance computing (HPC) and research data management, but his responsibilities also extend to helping researchers solve technology-related problems and discover the right tools for their work.
Luke is particularly interested in teaching programming, applying large language models (LLMs) on HPC systems, and tackling unusual or complex challenges. He enjoys contributing to creative, practical solutions.
Outside of work, Luke practices Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA) and currently owns six swords.
