Evelyn joined QCIF operations team in 2023 after submitting her thesis, and her within six months role was expanded to capitalise on her research expertise. Following a career in operations management in other industries, Evelyn obtained her Bachelor of Languages and Linguistics and Honours at Griffith, and went on to complete her PhD at UQ’s School of Languages and Culture.

Evelyn’s area of interest and expertise is interactional in nature. She has a keen sense of sequence, process, and reality, in interaction between person to person, person to machine, people and space, people and their environment. This extends to everyday work practices such as analytic workflow and operational processes.

Her pragmatic perspective combined with professional experience and academic research training, means she is motivated to apply her capabilities across research design and translation, professional practice, and collaboration.

In her spare time, Eve consults, designs, and builds for escape rooms and theatre.
