Building on our shared commitment to advancing data, digital capabilities and research excellence, this MoU will deepen collaboration and knowledge exchange across institutions and bring new initiatives that support universities, research organisations and the broader innovation ecosystem.

24 Feb 2026

QCIF Digital Research is proud to announce the signing of a Strategic Partnership Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Council of Australasian University Directors of Information Technology (CAUDIT), a peak body for Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in the Higher Education and Research sectors.

Building on our shared commitment to advancing data, digital capabilities and research excellence, this MoU will deepen collaboration and knowledge exchange across institutions and bring new initiatives that support universities, research organisations and the broader innovation ecosystem.

Proactive collaboration to strengthen best practices in ICT

With members across Australasia and the South Pacific, CAUDIT represents a leading community of digital practitioners, committed to advancing ICT capability through professional learning, shared expertise, and cybersecurity initiatives.

Our focus on strong data security aligns closely with these priorities, demonstrated through our recent ISO 27001 certification for KeyPoint, QCIF’s secure access environment.

Adjunct Professor Sach Jayasinghe, CEO of QCIF Digital Research, highlighted the value of collaboration in this space:

“In a rapidly evolving technology environment, partnerships are paramount in effectively meeting the needs of the higher education and research communities. Proactive collaboration in sharing new insights and best practice between CAUDIT and QCIF will only strengthen efforts in achieving our respective missions. I look forward to working with the CAUDIT team and its members”.

Greg Sawyer, CEO of CAUDIT, welcomed the new partnership and acknowledged the collaborative effort behind the agreement.

“A huge thank you to QCIF CEO Sach Jayasinghe and the QCIF team for their partnership and shared ambition. We’re delighted that QCIF will join CAUDIT Member Representatives at the upcoming CAUDIT Members Meeting.”

We look forward to the conversations, collaborations, and connections this partnership will foster across the sector.
