About the event

In this event, critical thinkers and practitioners from across the globe, will identify key questions and actions for the optimal long-term management of digital objects relevant to researchers that meet Sustainable Development Goals.

The workshop is organised into three parts, each introduced by short presentations followed by a discussion:

  2. Perspectives, opportunities and limitations of repository and storage providers

  3. Future scanning of options for the research data ecosystem

Speakers include domain experts Prof. Janet Davies (QUT medical research), some excellent Qld government researchers (John Carter, the Long Paddock inter alia, and Craig Thornton, Brigalow), Sarah Hegarty from Swinburn concerned with astronomy data, data warehouse/storage people such as Mark Gray from Pawsey, Siddeswara M. Guru from TERN and Peter Marendy from QCIF, Tavita Su’a from the South Pacific Environmental Portal, and overarching people like Wim Hugo from the EOSC Data…
