From Data to Discovery Lunchtime Series: Enabling Impactful Health Research with QCIF Digital Research

Join us for this special event to discover how QCIF Digital Research partners with health researchers and practitioners to accelerate impactful, data-driven research.

In this event, we will introduce the many ways QCIF Digital Research supports researchers and practitioners at every stage of their projects, from expert guidance on experimental design, statistical and bioinformatics analysis, and results interpretation to assistance with grant applications, including analysis planning and formulation of budgets. You’ll also learn about opportunities for ongoing advisory support, access to subsidised national high-performance computing infrastructure, and training in data science and analytics. 

The session will be followed by a real-world case study from Dr Akmez Latona, an emergency specialist with Queensland Health and LifeFlight clinician who has been collaborating with the QCIF Statistics team on the award-winning project Transforming Care Procedures in Emergency Departments for Patients with Chronic Liver Disease.
