John Perry

John joined QCIF in December 2021. His primary discipline has been in web development, but has more recently seen cloud computing as integral in application delivery. 

John will build, support and head the ongoing maintenance of QCIF’s QRIScloud restricted region. He will also support researchers with technical analysis and implementation for tenancies with an eye on those applications which will need to be transitioned to the QRIScloud restricted region.

John will also support and administer the national SeRP (sensitive data management) project running inside QRIScloud’s restricted region. 

John was previously a software development teacher at TAFE Queensland for more than six years. Prior to that, he worked in web development for various companies for almost seven years.
