Dung joined QCIF in July 2024 as a Machine Learning and Data Ops Specialist to support machine learning, deep learning, and data processing competencies. Before this role, he was a Research Fellow at The University of Queensland, Deakin University, and Monash University, where he led to build state-of-the-art deep learning/machine learning models for various areas such as ecology, cybersecurity, health, and agriculture, and successfully delivered all projects with high quality of product to industry partners.
From 2015 to 2019, he was a PhD researcher at QUT where he resolved multimodal emotion recognition using computer vision and deep learning techniques.
