New data storage service for USQ researchers

USQ researchers now have access to the new USQ Research Data Bank (ReDBank) service, which makes it straightforward to store, share and synchronise data during research projects.

Files can be accessed whenever and wherever, and shared with collaborators in Australia and overseas, to comply with all relevant policies and legislation.

Most importantly, the service means data is stored in Australia, not offshore, to reduce the risk of breaching privacy legislation and to more easily align with USQ's Research Data Management Policy.

ReDBank Project Manager Dr Francis Gacenga, who is also QCIF’s USQ-based eResearch Analyst, encourages all of the university’s researchers to make use of ReDBank. “The ReDBank service provides researchers with secure, resilient and reliable data storage,” he said.
