QCIF Facilities
The QCIF facilities are available for use by researchers and students (through their supervisors) from within the QCIF partner institutions.
The QCIF Merit Allocation Scheme has been established to allow researchers access to the QCIF HPC facilities, located at UQ based on merit. A substantial proportion of the QCIF HPC computational resources are available for distribution under this Scheme by the QCIF CEO Advisory Committee.

APAC National Facility
The APAC National Facility (NF) is available for use by researchers and postgraduate students (through their supervisors) at Australian universities and the CSIRO.
The APAC NF operates on a resource share model whereby the resources of the NF systems have been allocated to APAC (for the Merit Allocation Scheme (MAS)) and other share-holders (mainly APAC partners like QCIF) in accordance with the contributions they have provided to the NF. As a result of this model, researchers granted resources under the MAS or by the partners are not charged by APAC for their use of the systems at the NF.
