QPSF sponsored Assoc. Professor Ian Atkinson (JCU) and Stuart Kininmonth (AIMS) to attend the post PRAGMA 7 Workshop on Environmental Sensor Networks for Research and Education on the 20/21 September in San Diego.
29/07 - The State Government confirmed today, by signing a Grant Agreement, its continuing support of High Performance Computing in Queensland. During the next 3 years $6M will be provided to QPSF to promote and develop HPC in Queensland. [more]
Professor Bernard Pailthorpe, QPSF CEO, attended the HPC Asia 2004 Conference which was held in Tokyo from the 19 - 23 July. Professor Pailthorpe presented as well as chaired some of the conference sessions.
A US-Australia Workshop on High-Performance Grids and Applications was held on the 8-9 June 2004, Sydney. This workshop follows similar workshops held between the US and the UK (in October 2002) and between UK and Australia (April and May 2003).
