QCIF, together with the Australian Research Collaboration Service
(ARCS),
are pleased to announce an Access Grid Workshop to be held in October,
2007. Early registration
is recommended; availability of places at the workshop will be limited so that
as much "hands on" attention as possible can be given to attendees.
The workshop activities (see current workshop program) are suitable for users of all levels but concentrate on operational aspects of successfully running an AG node; the presenters are amongst the most experienced AG users in Australia. Please note that registrants are invited to suggest any particular additional areas they'd like to see covered in the workshop. The workshop program may therefore change somewhat as these requests are considered.
In addition, some time will be devoted to discussion of future directions of the Access Grid i.e. what areas of functionality should we be looking for in the next release(s) of the AG Toolkit.
Registration is free and includes a workshop dinner at the University of Queensland Staff Club on the first evening of the workshop.
